Fake WhatsApp and Telegram accounts opened in name of Armenian environment minister

Fake WhatsApp and Telegram accounts have been created using the name of Environment Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, the ministry’s spokesperson Ani Hakobyan has warned.

She urged people to remain vigilant, avoid responding to suspicious messages, sharing personal or official information, or making transfers, and to block and report the accounts.

Earlier, Armenian Parliament Speaker Ruben Rubinyan and Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan had also warned about fake social media accounts using their names and photos.
