Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has said intelligence sharing with the United States is continuing, the BBC’s Russian Service reports.
“You are asking whether we receive intelligence from the American side. Yes, we are continuing this cooperation. It is true that the air raid alert was sounded late during last night’s attack. However, this was due to the particular type of weaponry used by the Russian side,” Sybiha said at the Warsaw Security Forum on 13 October.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine had received no warning from its partners before Russia launched ballistic missiles towards Kyiv. However, he did not specify which partners he meant.
The Financial Times had previously reported, citing its sources, that US representatives had threatened last week to stop sharing intelligence with Kyiv over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
