Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Cyprus’s Ambassador to Armenia, Michael Mavros, on the occasion of Independence Day.
According to a statement published on the official Facebook page of the Armenian President’s Office, Khachaturyan congratulated the ambassador and the people of Cyprus, highlighting the historic friendship and mutual solidarity between Armenia and Cyprus.
He emphasised Cyprus’s role as a trusted partner of Armenia and expressed gratitude for its continued support during difficult times.
Ambassador Michael Mavros thanked the president for the reception and good wishes, expressing his readiness to further deepen bilateral relations and develop new areas of cooperation.
The meeting addressed a range of issues on the Armenia–Cyprus bilateral agenda. The two sides stressed the importance of developing cooperation in political, economic, educational and other fields, highlighting the need to make full use of the existing potential.
