Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory letter to President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides on the occasion of Cypriot Independence Day.
“Warmly congratulating you, I extend my sincere best wishes to you on the occasion of the national day of the Republic of Cyprus, Independence Day,” Pashinyan said in a letter published by his office.
“Armenia highly values its relations with Cyprus, based on strong friendship and mutual trust, which continue to develop through mutually beneficial cooperation and the close ties between our peoples. I reaffirm Armenia’s readiness to further deepen and strengthen our cooperation through joint efforts, both in bilateral and multilateral formats and within the framework of the Armenia-European Union partnership. At the same time, I would like to emphasize our readiness to elevate the level of our relations in areas of mutual interest, with the aim of shaping a new agenda for long-term and ambitious cooperation. I am confident that through our shared commitment, we will achieve this goal and further expand bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our two countries and peoples. Taking this opportunity, I wish you every success and the friendly people of Cyprus continued progress and prosperity,” he added.
