Armenia’s Rudolf Garboyan takes bronze at European Boxing Championships

Armenian boxer Rudolf Garboyan took bronze at the European Boxing Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria after suffering a 0–5 semifinal defeat to Russia’s Bair Batlaev in the 50kg category.

Earlier, Elida Kocharyan had won a bronze medal for Armenia in the women’s competition at the European Championships.
