Independence Day events pass without serious incidents – Interior Ministry

No serious incidents or accidents were recorded during large-scale events marking Armenia’s Independence Day.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.

To ensure the smooth running of the events, the Ministry’s services operated under an emergency regime.

The Police’s four pillar services maintained public order and security, while Rescue Service personnel were on duty at the event venues.

The Ministry stressed that the coordinated work of police officers and rescuers ensured the safe conduct of events attended by thousands of citizens and tourists.
