Armenia and Russia are continuing the process of taking stock of their relations as part of efforts to clarify bilateral ties, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.
“As we agreed with Russia during the Bishkek negotiations, we are continuing to take stock of Armenia-Russia relations to see what layers they consist of,” he said at a press briefing when asked about the possible revision of the price of Russian gas supplied to Armenia, referring to his meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Bishkek.
“The issue of the railway comes up, and everyone starts dealing with it, then the gas issue comes up. Armenia-Russia relations are multilayered, and there are numerous problems, questions and opportunities there. That process of taking stock is underway, and discussions are continuing or beginning,” Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister added that negotiations are being held with all possible countries, including on gas imports and other issues.
