Serbian President Vucic says he may resign in late September

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Friday that he would resign on Sept. 25 or 26 and then campaign as an ordinary citizen for prime minister in the snap parliamentary elections due on Oct. 25, N1 reported.

Vucic detailed that he will formalize his departure from office "immediately after" returning from New York, where he plans to attend to speak at the United Nations General Assembly. "I believe it will be on the 25th or the 26th of September," he reiterated.
