US President Donald Trump has denied media reports claiming that US fighter jets were damaged at an American air base in Jordan during Iranian retaliatory strikes, NewsNation reported.
“There was no damage. There is absolutely no truth to the reports of damage to the US air base in Jordan,” Trump said in an interview with NewsNation, responding to a question about Iranian strikes targeting the base.
Earlier, CBS News correspondent Jennifer Jacobs, citing sources familiar with the situation, reported that several US military aircraft were reportedly damaged at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan following Iranian strikes carried out overnight.
