France’s newly appointed ambassador visits Armenian Genocide Memorial

France's newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Florian Escudié, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan on September 9.

The ambassador was welcomed and accompanied at the memorial by Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
The Museum-Institute published photos from the visit showing Escudié paying tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide by laying flowers at the eternal flame.

The ambassador toured the memorial complex and learned about the history and significance of the monument commemorating the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
