The parliamentary Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs elected MP Tsovinar Vardanyan (Civil Contract) as its Deputy Chairperson at its inaugural session on Wednesday.
Speaking after her confirmation, Vardanyan highlighted her experience in the financial sector.
“I spent almost my entire career in the financial sector. I have a strong interest in being on this committee. I believe that Armenia’s financial system should respond to the economic developments outlined in the Government’s adopted economic doctrine. As the committee’s deputy chair, I will carry out all the duties and act within the scope of my powers as stipulated by the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,” she said.
