The Investigative Committee of Armenia has once again released data on those killed and missing in the 2020 war.
The committee said 3,833 people were killed as a result of the 2020 44-day war, including 3,755 servicemen and 78 civilians.
In a statement, the committee said 191 people, including 172 servicemen and 19 civilians, are still missing.
The figures were released days after President Vahagn Khachaturyan erroneously mentioned a different, higher figure in a speech. A subsequent clarification issued by his office caused further confusion, as the figure provided excluded civilian casualties without specifying this.
