Houthis threaten Saudi Arabia with retaliation

Yemen’s Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree has said that Saudi Arabia’s actions against Yemen will not go unanswered or unpunished.

Saree made the remarks in a post on his official X account.

He claimed that alongside its blockade of Yemen, Saudi Arabia had escalated the situation by carrying out airstrikes and what he described as massacres, the latest of which, according to him, took place in Al-Jawf province.

Saree also accused Saudi Arabia of conducting reconnaissance flights over Yemen and supplying various types of weapons to forces opposing the Houthis.

“The Saudi enemy must bear the consequences of its crimes against the Yemeni people,” the Houthi military spokesperson said.

Saudi Arabia has yet to respond to the accusations.
