Kosovo signs agreement to join International Stabilisation Force in Gaza

Kosovo signed an agreement on September 7 to join the newly established International Stabilisation Force for the Gaza Strip, the Board of Peace said in a post on X.

The agreement was signed by representatives of Kosovo, the US-backed Board of Peace and the International Stabilisation Force during a ceremony in Pristina.

“Kosovo will provide important support to the mission to advance President Trump’s 20-point peace plan in Gaza,” the post said.

Kosovo’s parliament approved the government’s decision to deploy troops in April.

So far, five countries have committed to joining the International Stabilisation Force, including Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Albania and Kosovo. In addition, Egypt and Jordan have committed to training police officers.

There is currently no official timetable for the deployment of troops.
