Ruben Rubinyan receives Swedish Ambassador to Armenia

President of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Armenia Eva Sundquist on September 7.

Eva Sundquist congratulated Ruben Rubinyan on his election as President of the National Assembly of Armenia, wishing him productive work and success.

According to a statement issued by the Armenian National Assembly, the interlocutors discussed the friendly relations established between Armenia and Sweden, emphasising the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and further developing existing ties.

Ruben Rubinyan and Eva Sundquist also stressed the importance of expanding cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and intensifying interparliamentary contacts.

The sides also discussed regional issues and recent developments.
