The Tour EXPO 2026 exhibition opened on September 5 at the Yerevan railway station, bringing together more than 50 organizations representing the tourism sector of Armenia, Georgia and Cyprus.
The South Caucasus Railway company, which is the operator of the Armenian railways, said in a press release that participants in the exhibition include representatives of the hotel and restaurant business, companies in the transport sector, tour operators, food producers, as well as organizations providing various services in the tourism sector.
The exhibition provides an opportunity for industry professionals to present their offers, learn about new trends in the tourism sector and establish new partnerships. At the same time, visitors can learn about the sector’s offers and services in Armenia and the region in one place.
In his opening remarks, South Caucasus Railway General Director Alexey Melnikov emphasized the importance of such initiatives for the development of the tourism sector.
“I am pleased to welcome the exhibition participants and guests to our platform. I am confident that Tour EXPO will be a good opportunity for representatives of the tourism sector to establish new business contacts, exchange experience and present their services to the wider public. For visitors, this is also a good opportunity to learn more about Armenia’s tourism opportunities and choose interesting travel destinations,” Alexey Melnikov said.
The South Caucasus Railway company is the main sponsor of the exhibition. The event is organized by Neo Concept, with Dilijan Inn hotel as the sponsor, the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia as the official partner, and the United Tourism Federation as the media partner.
