Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a farewell meeting on Thursday with French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies as he completes his diplomatic mission.
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout that PM Pashinyan thanked the Ambassador for close cooperation and for contributing to the consistent development of Armenia-France relations.
Prime Minister Pashinyan particularly highlighted the establishment of the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as the deepening and expansion of ties in the areas of economy, infrastructure, culture and other fields.
Ambassador Olivier Decottignies, in turn, thanked the Prime Minister and the Government of Armenia for their support, joint work and effective cooperation.
The ambassador expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries will continue to expand, including through the implementation of new joint programs.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues on the agenda of Armenia-France cooperation.
Prime Minister Pashinyan wished the Ambassador success in his future activities.
