PM appoints new Tourism Committee chief

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Deputy Minister of Economy Anushik Avetyan as the new chair of the Tourism Committee, replacing Lusine Gevorgyan.

Gevorgyan left the position on August 29.

Avetyan has served as Deputy Minister of Economy since April 2025. Before that, she was executive director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham).

The decrees on her dismissal as deputy minister and appointment as Tourism Committee chair were posted online on Wednesday.
