Karlen Hovhannisyan joins Russian club Akron

Pyunik Yerevan midfielder Karlen Hovhannisyan is joining Russian club Akron. The two clubs have reached an agreement on the player’s transfer, Pyunik’s press service said.

The 21-year-old midfielder made 38 appearances for Pyunik, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

During his time at Pyunik, Hovhannisyan was also called up to the Armenia national team and made his international debut in a friendly against Belarus on March 29 this year.
