The Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life of Gyumri and the Gyumri State Symphony Orchestra will present a special event titled “An Evening at the Museum” for Gyumri residents and visitors to the city on September 4, officially marking the start of the Gyumri State Symphony Orchestra’s autumn concert season.
The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a special guided tour, during which visitors will have the opportunity to experience the rich everyday life, traditions and urban culture of old Alexandrapol.
The museum’s halls and historical artifacts will become the setting for an engaging journey through time, combining classical music, theatrical performances and the historic surroundings. Against the backdrop of the open sky and the historic landmark building, symphonic melodies will come to life. The Gyumri State Symphony Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Armen Karchyan and conductor Yervand Varosyan, will invite the audience on a unique musical journey where history, memory and art intertwine.
“The Gyumri State Symphony Orchestra and the Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life of Gyumri have always presented collaborative programs, a vivid example of which is the ‘Museum Night’ initiative. Seeing the great public interest in this format, it was decided to present this new program,” orchestra director Sona Harutyunyan told Armenpress.
