Armenian, Georgian prime ministers hold phone call

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke by phone with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze.

PM Pashinyan and PM Kobakhidze discussed issues related to the Armenia–Georgia strategic relations agenda and the ongoing cooperation in various fields, Pashinyan’s office said in a press release.

Pashinyan referred to the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which will be held in Armenia in October this year, and invited Irakli Kobakhidze to Armenia to participate in the Leaders’ Summit to be held as part of COP17.

The Georgian Prime Minister gladly accepted the invitation.
