Second suspect charged over deadly Chambarak road accident involving servicemen

One more person has been charged as part of the criminal proceedings initiated over the deadly traffic accident last week, when a truck allegedly struck several military servicemen on a road leading to Chambarak, killing one and injuring several others.

The truck driver had been arrested and placed in pre-trial detention in a criminal case over violating traffic safety rules.

The Investigative Committee said that another person, whose identity was not disclosed, has been charged with exceeding or abusing authority.

The second suspect has been arrested and will be brought before a court to seek his pre-trial detention, the investigators said.
