Prosecutors have indicted the current and former directors of clothing retailer Gritti LLC, as well as the directors of Fast Kart LLC, which operates under the Play City trademark, and Kinetic CJSC, which operates Orange Fitness, for allegedly failing to pay taxes in particularly large amounts. The companies are affiliated with former President Robert Kocharyan.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Gritti’s current director allegedly failed to pay AMD 1.577 billion in taxes between November 2021 and July 2026, while the company’s former director allegedly failed to pay AMD 328.664 million.
The director of Fast Kart allegedly failed to pay AMD 141.054 million in taxes between July 1, 2025 and June 23, 2026, while the director of Kinetic allegedly failed to pay AMD 520.215 million in taxes.
The Prosecutor General’s Office said the cases are being investigated by the Investigative Committee.
