Investigators raid Orange Fitness, Play City in Yerevan

Investigators have raided the Orange Fitness sports club and the Play City entertainment complex in Yerevan as part of ongoing criminal investigations, the Investigative Committee has said.

The law enforcement agency added that investigative and procedural measures are also underway at the homes of the CEOs of the two facilities.

Earlier today, the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia said that searches and other procedural actions were being carried out at several dozen properties belonging to Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan and members of his family.

Bagrat Mikoyan, head of Robert Kocharyan’s office, said that the former president was taken to the Anti-Corruption Committee on the morning of August 25.

It was also reported that law enforcement officers had entered the apartments of Robert Kocharyan’s sons, Levon and Sedrak Kocharyan.
