Border Guard Troops review first-half 2026 results

The first-half 2026 results were reviewed in the Border Guard Troops of Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS), with the participation of NSS Deputy Director D. Sanamyan and Border Guard Troops Commander Colonel G. Muradyan.

According to a press release, reports were presented by Border Guard Troops deputy commanders Colonel V. Minasyan, Colonel L. Sadoyan, Colonel L. Knyazyan, and other officials, who outlined the work carried out during the first half of the year in the areas of combat readiness, protection of the state border, organization of troop service, military discipline, and morale and psychological support.

NSS Deputy Director D. Sanamyan and Border Guard Troops Commander Colonel G. Muradyan placed particular emphasis on identified shortcomings and deficiencies, issuing relevant instructions to address the problems identified, improve the effectiveness of service, and strengthen discipline. Issues related to the continued development of personnel’s professional training were also discussed. A ceremony to recognize achievements was also held as part of the review.

Based on the results of the first half of 2026, the Border Guard Troops units recognized as the best were awarded challenge flags and certificates, while a number of servicemen were presented with certificates of commendation for their high performance and positive achievements during their service.
