The Armenian government is very concerned about the situation involving the United States and Iran, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.

Speaking to reporters after a Cabinet meeting, Pashinyan said Armenia is working closely with both Washington and Tehran and hopes the situation will be resolved as soon as possible. He was responding to a question about the potential impact on Armenia-Iran relations of what was described as the US president declaring an economic war on Iran.

“We are, naturally, very concerned about the situation involving the United States and Iran, and we are working very closely with both the United States and Iran on this issue. Our wish is for this situation to be resolved as soon as possible,” Pashinyan said.
