Armenian grandmaster Haik Martirosyan continues his run at the Rubinstein Chess Festival 2026 international tournament.
Martirosyan defeated Poland’s Radoslaw Wojtaszek in the fifth round. He has 2.5 points after five rounds, one point behind the tournament leader. Poland’s Jan Malek leads the standings with 3.5 points.
A total of 10 players are participating in the Rubinstein Chess Festival 2026. The tournament consists of nine rounds and will conclude on Aug. 23.
