Armenia opens liaison bureau at Europol

Armenia’s Liaison Bureau has been opened at Europol, the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation, in The Hague.

According to Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ara Fidanian has been serving as head of desk at Europol for around four months, helping ensure more rapid and effective cooperation between Armenian law enforcement agencies and Europol.

Armenia and Europol have developed an effective partnership focused on combating international and organized crime, exchanging information and deepening cooperation in law enforcement.

The opening of the Armenian Liaison Bureau marks an important new step in further developing this cooperation. It will enable faster and more coordinated information exchange, strengthen professional ties and expand joint work.
