Strong Armenia faction nominates Arega Hovsepyan to chair Standing Committee on European Integration

The National Assembly is considering Arega Hovsepyan’s candidacy for the post of Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration. Narek Karapetyan, head of the Strong Armenia faction, announced that the faction had nominated Hovsepyan for the position. Lena Matevosyan, an MP from the Strong Armenia faction, presented Hovsepyan’s biography to lawmakers.
Earlier, the Civil Contract faction nominated Lusine Badalyan to chair the Standing Committee on Health Care, while the Armenia faction nominated Lilit Galstyan to chair the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs.
The Civil Contract faction also nominated Sisak Gabrielyan to chair the Standing Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Sport and Diaspora Affairs, Babken Tunyan to chair the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, Arusyak Julhakyan to chair the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, and Vilen Gabrielyan to chair the Standing Committee on Defence and Security.
The Strong Armenia faction nominated Davit Ghazinyan to chair the Standing Committee on Territorial Administration and Environmental Protection and Hayk Farmanyan to chair the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
