Yerevan State University ranks first in Armenia by number of applications

Yerevan State University (YSU) has been named the most popular higher education institution in Armenia based on the number of applications submitted through the unified entrance exams, followed by the Armenian State University of Economics and the National Polytechnic University of Armenia.

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Araksia Svajyan presented the figures at a meeting with education authorities.

Svajyan presented the figures during the opening meeting of the Ministry’s August consultations, attended by public school principals and administrative coordinators, as well as directors of preschool and extracurricular institutions and heads of territorial pedagogical and psychological support centers.
