Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán has congratulated Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on his reappointment.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Orbán said in the letter that the high turnout among Armenian citizens in the latest electoral process demonstrated their commitment to shared democratic values and Armenia’s European future.
“Hungary highly values the friendly relations and growing partnership between our countries. Budapest and Yerevan have made significant progress in strengthening bilateral cooperation, and I am confident that our friendship will deepen further in the coming years,” the Hungarian foreign minister said.
Following the Civil Contract party’s victory in the June 7 parliamentary elections, the Pashinyan administration began a new term, with nearly all Cabinet members retaining their posts.
