Armenian U20 wrestling team member Samvel Terteryan has won a gold medal at the World Championships.
In the Greco-Roman 77kg final at the U20 Wrestling World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia, Terteryan faced Zavid Nahmatov of Azerbaijan.
The bout ended 1-1, and Terteryan was declared the winner as he had scored the first point.
In the 87kg final, Yurik Petrosyan was defeated and took the silver medal.
