President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Oman if the country gets in the way of the U.S. blockade of Iranian ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Fox News reported.
The threat comes as tensions between Washington and Tehran simmer, with both sides aiming to control the vital Strait of Hormuz.
In a phone interview, Trump told Fox News that if “Oman gets in the way we’ll bomb the s—— out of them.”
He also said that the blockade is putting pressure on Iran and that he has no timeline for resolving the conflict, declaring he isn’t in a hurry.
In a post on his Truth Social account on Monday, Trump said: “The number one Goal is, and always will be, that Iran cannot have, in any way, shape, or form, a Nuclear Weapon.”
