Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan held a meeting on Friday with Argentina’s Ambassador to Armenia, Rafael Enrique Gonzalez Alemán.
The Ambassador congratulated Ruben Rubinyan on his election as Speaker of Parliament and wished him success in carrying out his important mission, according to a readout issued by the Parliament’s press service.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Argentina, as well as the atmosphere of mutual respect and trust that has been established between the two countries.
They discussed interparliamentary relations between Armenia and Argentina. In this context, they emphasized the role of friendship groups and bilateral visits in further developing cooperation between the two countries.
The parties also discussed issues related to the development and expansion of economic ties between Armenia and Argentina.
