Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his reappointment as Prime Minister of Armenia.
“Excellency, on behalf of the Government and people of Japan, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations on Your Excellency’s reappointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia,” the Japanese PM said in a letter addressed to Pashinyan.
“Armenia is an important partner for Japan in maintaining and strengthening a free and open international order based on the rule of law. Your Excellency’s visit to Japan last September was an important opportunity to further deepen bilateral relations. Next year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, and I look forward to further expanding and developing bilateral relations under close cooperation with Your Excellency. I sincerely wish for Your Excellency’s good health and further success, and for the prosperity of the Republic of Armenia”.
