Public criminal proceedings have been initiated against Arthur Dallakyan, director of Multi Transport, on charges of particularly large-scale tax evasion.
“Within the framework of the criminal proceedings, public criminal prosecution has been initiated against A.D. on charges of particularly large-scale tax evasion. House arrest has been imposed as a preventive measure,” Kima Avdalyan, spokesperson for Armenia’s Investigative Committee, said.
Arthur Dallakyan is the general director of Multi Transport LLC. The company was wholly owned by Nver Tsarukyan, the son of Gagik Tsarukyan.
The company operates the unified public transport networks of the Kotayk and Aragatsotn regions. Dallakyan served as a lawmaker from the Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction between 2019 and 2021.
On July 6, searches were conducted at Gagik Tsarukyan’s residence, as well as at several companies within the Multi Group concern and the homes of their executives.
