Pashinyan says EAEU is de facto paralyzed and dysfunctional

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is in a "paralyzed state" and is not functioning.

"The EAEU is a platform where I will raise all issues related to our agenda," Pashinyan said at a press briefing.

"If the EAEU treaty is not functioning, then the organization itself is not functioning. The EAEU is de facto in a paralyzed state, and this paralysis is showing signs of deepening. If this issue is not resolved quickly, I am 100 percent certain that it will be Armenia that overcomes this problem, not the EAEU," the Armenian prime minister said, referring to Russian trade restrictions that are currently affecting Armenian exports.
