The meeting in Switzerland, which had been scheduled as part of the next round of negotiations aimed at preparing a final agreement between the United States and Iran, has been postponed, APA’s Tehran bureau reported. According to the report, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei told journalists that the necessary consultations are continuing through mediators regarding the next round of negotiations. The spokesperson stated that one of the main objectives of the meeting in Switzerland, which was later canceled, had been the signing of a memorandum on ending the war. He added that the planned signing ceremony was also intended to address organizational issues related to negotiations on a final agreement. According to Baghaei, preparations are currently underway for a new meeting expected to take place in the coming days.
