Kazan to host Russia-ASEAN leaders’ summit

A summit of leaders from Russia and member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations will be held in Kazan on 17-18 June. According to a statement from Russia’s Foreign Ministry, the summit is being held as part of events marking the 35th anniversary of relations between Russia and ASEAN. The ministry said participating leaders will discuss strategic partnership issues and outline new areas for future cooperation.
