Spain PM Sánchez congratulates Pashinyan on election victory

Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the Civil Contract party’s victory in the parliamentary elections.

 “Congratulations to Nikol Pashinyan and his party on the election victory. The Armenian people have chosen democracy, stability, and a future increasingly closer to Europe. Spain will continue to support Armenia on its path toward peace and closer ties with the EU,” PM Sánchez said in a post on X.

Enhorabuena a @NikolPashinyan y a su partido por la victoria electoral. El pueblo armenio ha apostado por la democracia, la estabilidad y un futuro cada vez más cercano a Europa.

España seguirá acompañando a Armenia en su camino hacia la paz y su aproximación a la UE.
