Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation during which they discussed bilateral relations, regional developments and security-related issues, Azerbaijani media reported.
According to the reports, the two ministers exchanged views on the current state of Iran-Azerbaijan relations and prospects for further developing cooperation between the two countries.
Araghchi provided detailed information on the ongoing negotiations involving Iran and the latest developments surrounding the process.
For his part, Bayramov stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts aimed at maintaining stability in the region.
The foreign ministers also discussed other issues on the bilateral and regional agenda, as well as ongoing developments of mutual interest.
