Cabinet approves regular summer draft dates for mandatory military service

The Cabinet approved a decision on Thursday to declare the regular summer conscription for eligible men for mandatory military service.

The conscription period for the summer season has been set from June 8 to August 15.

Servicemembers completing their service in this period will be demobilized from June 24 to August 15.

Men aged 18–27 are required by law to serve 18 months in the military.
