Russian embassy in Armenia extends Republic Day greetings

The Russian Embassy in Yerevan has released a congratulatory statement on Republic Day, which is celebrated annually in Armenia on May 28.

“We congratulate the people of Armenia on Republic Day, wishing them well-being, prosperity, and all the best,” the embassy said in the statement.

Republic Day is a national holiday in Armenia marking the anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia in 1918, when Armenian statehood—disrupted for centuries—was restored following the heroic battles of Sardarapat, Bash-Aparan, and Karakilisa.
