Azerbaijani media outlets reported on Thursday that Iranian drones have hit the country’s Nakhchivan exclave.
According to the APA news agency, an Iranian drone hit the Nakhchivan airport, while several other drones fell in different locations, including near a school. The news agency released images of the strike.
Meanwhile, a source close to the Azerbaijani government told Reuters that both missiles and drones flying from the direction of Iran fell on the territory of the airport in Nakhchivan.
Other details were not immediately available, and there were no reports of casualties.
