U.S. military says four troops confirmed dead in Iran operation

"Four U.S. service members have been killed in action" since the U.S. and Israel launched their war on Iran, the American Central Command said Monday, raising the death toll reported on Sunday by one, according to CBS News.

"The fourth service member, who was seriously wounded during Iran's initial attacks, eventually succumbed to their injuries," CENTCOM said, adding that "major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing."
