Armenia ready to assist in evacuating Canadian citizens from Iran through its territory

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Anita Anand, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. 

The interlocutors discussed the situation in the Middle East, with both sides emphasizing the importance of close cooperation in crisis situations.

Minister Mirzoyan stressed the importance of reaching a resolution of the current situation through negotiations and a peaceful settlement.

Minister Mirzoyan expressed Armenia’s readiness to assist, as necessary, in the evacuation of Canadian citizens through the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
