Armenia, Rwanda FMs discuss expanding cooperation

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Olivier Nduhungirehe in Geneva, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

The sides emphasized the importance of the continued development of Armenia–Rwanda political dialogue, including through the implementation of signed bilateral documents and political consultations between the foreign ministries.

Mirzoyan and Nduhungirehe discussed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including education, healthcare and high technologies.

In the context of cooperation on multilateral platforms, the potential of the International Organization of La Francophonie and the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity was highlighted. The interlocutors also exchanged views on efforts aimed at strengthening peace.
