A magnitude 2.2 earthquake struck near the town of Masis, the Armenian Seismic Protection authorities reported on Tuesday.
The quake hit some 10 km southeast of Masis at a depth of 10 km at around 05:33 on February 24, the Seismic Protection Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
The quake did not cause any damage. It was felt at an intensity of 2–3 MSK in Masis and the villages of Mkhchyan and Dvin.
