Armenian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Ashot Hovakimian, met with Jiří Brodský, the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
“The parties discussed prospects for the further strengthening of the political dialogue between Armenia and Czechia, and expressed their mutual readiness to expand cooperation in the trade and economic sectors. They also addressed the potential participation of the Czech side in the high-level international events scheduled to take place in Armenia later this year,” the Armenian embassy said in a readout.
The embassy added that Ambassador Hovakimian briefed the Deputy Minister on recent developments in the South Caucasus, following the Washington agreements, including the progress toward the unblocking of the regional infrastructure, as well as the Armenian government’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative.
