Armenia exceeds growth target, achieves 2.3 times global average

Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, has stated that the average economic growth target set by the Government’s 2021–2026 program has been exceeded.

“The Government’s 2021–2026 program set an average economic growth target of 7%. The indicator has been exceeded and stands at 7.9%. This is approximately 2.3 times higher than the global average,” Papoyan wrote on Facebook.

Earlier today, the minister reported that Armenia’s economic growth reached 7.2% in 2025.
